My handmade cards

Hello and welcome back to my craft blog, as you can see i recently had my header re-done by the lovely Jemma, if you have some time in the evenings or through out the day please do check out her blog.

I haven't really been blogging a lot on my craft blog as i have been keeping up to date with my current blog, and just completely forgot about this one.
So your probably wondering what made me come back to this one, well, i have been making so many cards and also got some new business cards and just would love to make this card making a career one day, how i don't no, but i will hopefully figure something out and maybe wit a little bit of your help.

Some of the cards in my pictures is what i took to a charity on  Saturday. Unfortunately i didn't make anything and only sold one, i did feel a little down as i do put so much effort into these and all that came to mind was, people buy from shops because its a lot cheaper.

So if any of you are looking for very special handmade cards i am happy to help.

I try to make at least five of each card, so that i have plenty incase someone would like one. If there is a card here that you quite like please do send me over an email at CraftyBlog91@gmail.com and i can give you a bit more information.

Craft Fair 2015

Hi all, i am looking forward to doing this post. Every year there is a Craft Fair in bridgwater which i went to last year and then went to it again on Sunday. When i first new about this craft fair, i was quite excited but didn't know what i would expect or what kinda prices they would be.

When i went there last year i met a few crafters who are off the craft channel on TV, and this made my day. This year there was a couple of crafters who have there own blog and when they show you ways of doing things they then video it and put it up onto there blog.

I treated myself to a couple of bits, as you can see in the second picture they had smaller cards and papers than these, which i thought was so cute as if you would like a card for a baby for christmas or birthday then i can do that and will be selling them for 50p.

I also brought myself some cute dies, one was a heart and one was a shoe, these you put onto a bit of paper in which colour you would like them and then put it through the spell binder.

If you would like to know a bit more about what i make, or if there's a special card you would like, please do let me know and i will be happy to help.

Tatty Teddy Birthday Card

Hello! Hope we've all had a lovely week. I thought it was time to put up another card which i made a few weeks ago, and am very pleased with what i've done. Tatty Teddy is my favourite stamp at the moment and wasn't quite sure what i wanted to do with it.
I firstly chose the background in which i wanted and because it's for a baby boy i thought i shall go blue background, i then used one of my dies to cut out the shape and then stamped my stamp onto it.

I am very pleased with what i've come up with and have sold quite a few of these, so if you are in need of a baby boy card i am selling them for £1.

Mothers Day Card

Tomorrow is Mothers day! And finally have finished the card for my mum, it took me a long time to decide what i actually wanted to do. I have so much stuff i could use, but one thing i think about is how big do i want the card and do i want it with straight edges or curvy. As you can see i went curvy.
The first thing i did was the wiggly shape which is the pink bit in the middle, this i drew and cut out myself which I'm very pleased with, I then brought my self a stamp with mum on which was in a sale back in January. I used pink and red for the writing, i think if i used red for all of it, it would have been too much.

I added a few dots of red glitter glue around the edge, for me it just looked a bit to plain without something there. And then finally added the background which i recently brought, and thought it was more of a mothers day type of paper.

So what do you think of my mothers day card.

Thanks for reading.

Decoupage

Hello! welcome to my New blog, where i shall be showing you all the wonderful cards i make. I only really started last year, but started of with simple things. Since starting, one of my favourite cards to make is using Decoupage. I just love all the 3D looking affects.

In hobby craft you can buy all types of different card, and for me something with a wiggly or curvy edge is always very pretty and just makes the card stand out a little better.
I then got a whole pad of different types of pretty paper and thought i would use leaf patterned one for this card, and because it was my favourite paper out of the whole book.

My Cute little cat Decoupage was also from hobby craft, it was a new range of stuff they brought in not to long ago, and i brought a couple of these, I have made so many cards using the cat decoupage and really enjoyed making it. This card can be for most things e.g. Birthday, mothers day, etc.

If you want to know a little bit more about this card then please don't hesitate to ask, my email is on the right side of my blog, so just pop me a quick email if you have any questions.

Thanks
